Swinging, funky, sweet, funny: Many attributes could describe the music of JazzTuon. The duo consists of the charismatic singer Nina Hölscher and Jazz Pianist Tobi Till, although their roles are not set like that. Nina sometimes makes use of other unusual instruments, such as the Kalimba or, if it suits she can step up and play the piano while Tobi plays the trumpet or the trombone. Genre-wise they move between swing from the 20th century to contemporary jazz and are not afraid to experiment with different grooves and sounds.
This is easy, yet interesting feel-good music that could either be center stage for a whole evening or creating a mood in the background of a party.
